RANGE ACCESS

Departments can schedule dedicated range time for training, qualifications, or individual officer practice. We offer flexible scheduling to accommodate shift work and department training calendars.

Range access can be scheduled for:

  • Individual officers

  • Small units

  • Full department training blocks

  • Firearms instructors running department training

  • Remedial or additional officer training

Our facility provides a controlled training environment where safety, structure, and professionalism are the priority.

QUALIFICATIONS

Lykos Training Center is available for department firearms qualifications. Departments may bring their own instructors to run qualification courses, or range safety officers can be provided if needed.

We can accommodate:

  • Annual or semi-annual firearms qualifications

  • Handgun qualifications

  • Rifle qualifications

  • Make-up qualification days

  • Remedial qualification training

We understand departments need efficient, organized qualification days, and we work with agencies to ensure training runs smoothly and on schedule.

IN-SERVICE TRAINING

Our facility is available for in-service firearms training and skills development beyond standard qualifications. This allows officers to train on skills that are difficult to incorporate into traditional qualification courses.

In-service training may include:

  • Marksmanship improvement

  • Drawing from duty holsters

  • Reloading and malfunction drills

  • Movement and positional shooting

  • Low-light training (if applicable)

  • Decision-making and scenario-based drills

Departments can run their own curriculum or coordinate training in advance to ensure the range setup meets training objectives.

PRIVATE DEPARTMENT TRAINING DAYS

Departments may reserve the facility for private training days dedicated exclusively to their officers. These training days allow instructors to run more advanced or specialized training without the time constraints of qualification courses.

Private training days are ideal for:

  • Firearms instructor training

  • Specialized unit training

  • New officer training

  • Remedial training

  • Scenario-based training

  • Low-light or flashlight training

  • Red dot / pistol optics transition training

Private department days ensure your officers have uninterrupted training time in a controlled environment.

FACILITY RENTAL

The facility is available for agency rental for training, evaluations, demonstrations, and other department-approved uses. We work directly with departments to coordinate scheduling, range rules, and facility use to ensure safe and efficient training operations.

Facility rental options may include:

  • Hourly rental

  • Half-day rental

  • Full-day rental

  • Recurring monthly training blocks

  • Long-term department agreements
