COURSE DETAILS

This course is designed for responsible firearm owners looking to develop real-world concealed carry skills beyond basic safety training. Focused on the practical realities of everyday carry, this class bridges the gap between owning a firearm and effectively carrying it for personal protection. Students will learn the principles of concealed carry, including proper equipment selection, holster placement, and how to balance comfort, concealment, and accessibility. Instruction emphasizes safe, efficient draw techniques from concealment, as well as adapting to different clothing types and real-world scenarios. COURSE OVERVIEW: - Principles of effective concealed carry - Holster selection, positioning, and retention considerations - Clothing choices and concealment strategies - Drawing safely and efficiently from concealment - Clearing garments under pressure - Re-holstering safely and deliberately - Movement, positioning, and awareness in everyday environments COURSE REQUIREMENTS: - Valid Massachusetts License to Carry (LTC) - Completion of Handgun Fundamentals, Performance Handgun, or equivalent - Semiautomatic handgun - Minimum of 3 magazines - Concealed carry holster and magazine carrier - 200 rounds of ammunition - Eye and ear protection - Notebook, pen, and sharpie marker - Medical kit (not required, but highly recommended) - Weather and range appropriate clothing - hat, sunscreen, etc. - Water and snacks DURATION: 3 Hours This course is ideal for individuals who already possess a foundational understanding of firearm safety and are ready to develop practical, everyday carry skills. Through guided drills and structured repetition, students will build competency in drawing from and around concealment garments while maintaining safety, control, and situational awareness.

ASSUMPTION OF RISK You voluntarily assume all risks associated with firearms training, including risks arising from your own actions, other participants, equipment, environmental conditions, and negligence of Lykos Training Center Inc. and its staff, to the fullest extent permitted by Massachusetts law. LIABILITY WAIVER REQUIRED All participants must sign a Firearms Training Agreement – Waiver of Liability & Assumption of Risk before participation. This agreement includes a waiver of claims, including those based on negligence, as allowed by law, and governs the full legal relationship between you and Lykos Training Center Inc. ARRIVAL REQUIREMENT Participants must arrive 30 minutes prior to their scheduled start time to allow for check-in, travel to the range, safety briefing, and preparation. Late arrival may result in denial of participation without refund. SAFETY & REMOVAL POLICY You must follow all safety rules and instructor directions at all times. Lykos Training Center reserves the right to remove any participant immediately, without refund or credit, if safety rules are violated or if the participant is deemed unsafe, impaired, or unfit for training. LEGAL COMPLIANCE You are solely responsible for complying with all federal and Massachusetts firearms laws and ensuring you are legally eligible to participate. NO GUARANTEE OF OUTCOME Participation does not guarantee skill level, certification, employment, or any legal authority to possess or carry firearms. POLICIES INCORPORATED By booking, you agree to all Lykos Training Center policies, including Safety & Range Policy, Booking & Cancellation Policy, Privacy Policy, and Terms & Conditions. MEDIA NOTICE Training may be recorded (photo/video/audio). By participating, you consent to incidental recording and authorize use for business and promotional purposes unless you opt out in writing before training begins. CONFIRMATION By booking or attending a training with Lykos Training Center, you confirm you have read, understood, and agree to this notice and all referenced policies and waiver terms.
